Petplan Equine Ambassadors 2018 - Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
To enter the competition, eligible entrants must fully complete the Petplan Equine Ambassador application form on the Petplan Equine website by 23:59 on Tuesday 2nd January 2018.
To be eligible to enter, you must be a customer of Petplan Equine with a policy in force at the time of entry and be actively competing in an equestrian discipline.
Petplan Equine will choose their favourite ten to twenty five entrants by 23rd January 2018 and this shortlist will be published on the Petplan Equine website. These shortlisted entrants will then have the opportunity to ask their friends, family and supporters to submit an endorsement for them on the Petplan Equine website outlining why they should be selected as an ambassador. These endorsements must be submitted by 23:59 on Tuesday 30th January.
Petplan Equine will then select ten to twelve entrants that they feel, based on the endorsements received, will best represent the Petplan Equine brand values as an Ambassador. Petplan Equine will make arrangements to visit these riders at their yard or at a competition before Sunday 25th February.
Once all shortlisted entrants have been assessed and visits completed, Petplan Equine will select two to four entrants to become Petplan Equine Ambassadors for 2018 and they will be notified by Friday 23rd February.
The selected entrants must be available on Wednesday 28th February and Thursday 1st March for activity to launch the Ambassadors programme which will be detailed by Petplan Equine nearer the time.
At least one of the judges involved in the review and selection process will be independent of Petplan Equine and the full names of judges will be made available on request.
Selection as a Petplan Equine Ambassador will be subject to an agreement of an appropriate Ambassador contract with Petplan Equine.
By entering into the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
Entry is free and is open to those aged 18 years old or over at the date of entry. Proof of identity and age may be required. Use of false details will result in disqualification.
All entries must be made by UK residents.
All employees of the Allianz UK group and their respective subsidiaries, their immediate families and anyone involved in the promotion of this competition, including any printers and agents and any other companies associated with the Ambassador programme, are excluded from entry.
Only one entry may be made per person. Petplan Equine will disallow duplicate entries where it finds them. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.
Selection of shortlisted entries, and the final winners, shall be at Petplan Equine’s absolute discretion and if it considers any entrant has acted inappropriately or dishonestly in entering into the competition, it reserves the right to disqualify that entrant. If Petplan Equine cannot contact any shortlisted or winning entrant, or agreement cannot be reached as to the necessary Ambassador contract, Petplan Equine reserves the right to seek an alternative or replacement entrant.
No responsibility is accepted for lost entries, delayed entries or mis-transmitted entries.
The selected Petplan Equine Ambassadors will be announced on the Petplan Equine website and Petplan Equine social media pages on Friday 2nd March.
Petplan Equine’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into and it reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the competition.
