Petplan Area Festival Dates

The Petplan Area Festival series launched in 2000 and is aimed at grassroots riders. We are pleased to say this has grown from 15 Area Festivals around the country with 555 tests completed in its’ first year to over 7,524 starters during the 2023 season – the biggest British Dressage affiliated series in the UK. This season also marks the 25th year of Petplan Equine’s Partnership with British Dressage in bringing you the Petplan Area Festivals.

Summer Area Festival Dates

The qualification period for the summer Area Festivals series runs from January to June. The Area Festivals then take place during July and August, with the Championship taking place in October at Arena UK, Lincolnshire.

Winter Area Festival Dates

The qualification period for the winter Area Festivals series runs from July to December. The Area Festivals then take place during January and February, with the Championship taking place in April at the NAF Five Star Winter Championships at Addington Equestrian, Buckingham.
