Jack Stancombe is from Gloucestershire and competes in affiliated eventing.
Tell us about the horses you own.
I own MGH Rococo (Rocco), who is an Irish Sport Horse cross Westphalian who I purchased in July 2014 after riding and competing him for a year beforehand. We've had some super eventing results over the past two seasons. I also ride Landsman (Scooby) who is owned by Kathryn Harris, he an 8 year old Holstein cross, Scooby loves to go as fast as possible cross country.
What were your highlights from 2015 as a sponsored rider and what are your goals for 2016?
One of my highlights of 2015 was taking part in the Petplan Equine Paces customer magazine photoshoot at a Petplan Masterclass with Lucinda Green with Scooby. My highlight eventing was Rocco and Scooby gaining many placings British Eventing and Rocco completing every dressage test on a sub 30 score.
My goals for 2016 are to keep getting consistent results on Rocco and Scooby, and all plans falling in place for Rocco to finish the season competing at novice.
