This policy offers value-for-money cover for the older horse and pony. Cover is limited to injury only.

Inclusive Cover

Pays up to the sum insured (or market value if less) following loss by death or euthanasia due to injury, or by theft or straying, plus up to £300 towards the cost of advertising or reward following theft or straying.

Pays up to the maximum benefit towards legal costs and compensation in the event that you are found legally responsible for an accident, injury or death to a third party or damage to their property. The first £250 of claims for property damage is payable by the policyholder. An excess applies in the event of a claim.

Optional Cover

Pays up to the maximum benefit towards legal costs and compensation in the event that you are found legally responsible for an accident, injury or death to a third party or damage to their property. The first £250 of claims for property damage is payable by the policyholder. An excess applies in the event of a claim.

Pays towards the cost of diagnostic investigation and treatment for injury, including complementary treatment, as recommended by the attending vet. The first £145 of each unrelated claim is payable by the policyholder.

£1,000 per condition for 12 months

This benefit pays up to £400 towards the cost to remove and dispose of your horse's body following death or euthanasia, provided the condition that caused the horse's death would be covered within the vet fees benefit (injury only).

Pays for the cost of repair to your trailer or horse-drawn vehicle, or up to the sum insured (or market value if less), if it is stolen or destroyed, or if the cost of repair is more than it was worth before it was damaged. The first £100 of each claim is payable by the policyholder.
