To take part in an Area Festival each horse and rider combination must qualify by achieving three scores of 62% Elementary, or two scores of 60% or above for Medium to PSG. The score sheets must be from the same calendar year as the Area Festival you wish to compete in and be submitted with your entry.
Scores can be obtained at any affiliated competition and non-members of British Dressage may qualify on "Class Tickets". Once the scores have been obtained the combination must become full members of British Dressage in order to take part in the Area Festivals. "Class Tickets" are available from British Dressage at a cost of £7 and enable riders to take part in an affiliated class without becoming full members.
To purchase ‘Class Tickets’ contact British Dressage on 02476 698 830 or visit www.britishdressage.co.uk
To compete in Preliminary qualifiers, horses must be fully registered or have an associate horse registration. Associate horse registration is free of charge and allows BD to record a horse’s details and results.
Members will receive an email notification when they qualify for an Area Festival. Once you have chosen which Area Festival you’d like to go to, send a copy of the notification, with your entry form, to the organiser. Qualifying scores may only be used once.
Please contact British Dressage on 02476 698 846 / 698 909. For information on how to enter visit www.britishdressage.co.uk/competitions.
