Petplan Equine, one of the UK’s leading equine insurance companies, will open applications to find its official 2017 Ambassadors on Tuesday 6 September 2016. This unique opportunity offers aspiring grassroots equestrians who are existing customers of Petplan Equine, the chance to receive support and help from a company who always puts the horse first.

Petplan Equine’s aim is to give back to customers by selecting ten passionate ambassadors who have first-hand experience of what it is to be a Petplan Equine customer, to join this exciting programme. Ten riders will be selected who show shining examples of responsible horse ownership, to spread the message as an Ambassador and in return Petplan Equine will provide them with the opportunity to develop their profile within the competition circuit.

All Petplan Equine Ambassadors will be provided with branded kit as well as £500 towards competition entries and training costs. They will also benefit from media training to help further their equestrian careers.

Petplan Equine is looking for Ambassadors who participate in a variety of equine disciplines. As well as being insured with Petplan Equine, potential Ambassadors must have made a claim within the last five years, so all prospective Ambassadors will have experienced the company’s uniquely friendly and efficient attitude to looking after its customers. If you think you, or someone you know, would be a good candidate make sure to head to the website in September to apply.

The Ambassador applications will remain open until 31 October 2016, following which a short list will be announced. Endorsements will open in December 2016, whereby friends, family and colleagues of those who have applied can comment on why a candidate would be an excellent choice as a Petplan Equine Ambassador. There will be advice on this section closer to the time.
