For riders at any level advice from top riders is invaluable and from now until the end of July visitors to the Petplan Equine Facebook page can benefit from a weekly 'Top Tip' from the world's number one event rider William Fox-Pitt.

The Olympic, World and European medallist and member of the GB team that won gold at the World Equestrian Games in 2010 reveals some of the wisdom he has accumulated in his long and successful career, from tips on training to advice on stable management. There is also the chance to be entered in to a draw, to win a once in a lifetime ride with Fox-Pitt at the Festival of British Eventing, Gatcombe Park for anyone who insures their horse with Petplan Equine by 30th June.

Fox-Pitt is an ambassador for Petplan Equine, the UK's specialist equine insurance provider, and visitors to the company's website can also read his blog and discover more about the man who is the only rider to have won five out of the six CCI4* events around the world, including Badminton in 2004 and Burghley a record six times.
